Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has told The Glasgow Evening Times that Glenn Middleton will stay at Ibrox for the 2018-19 campaign.
Middleton joined Rangers from Norwich City in the January transfer window and made his competitive debut for the Gers against FK Shkupi in the first leg of the Europa League first round qualifier earlier this month.
The 18-year-old winger filled at left-back during the closing stages of the pre-season friendly match against Wigan Athletic at Ibrox this past weekend.
Rangers manager Gerrard, who was appointed in the role at Ibrox earlier this summer, has stated that the youngster will be at Ibrox next season.
The Liverpool legend has also spoken highly of the Scotland Under-21 international.
