'Too many secrets': Jamie Redknapp has a warning for Celtic manager about Rangers' Gerrard (Via HITC)
At Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers, Steven Gerrard can use what he learned from the Celtic boss to affect him in the Scottish Premiership, reckons Jamie Redknapp.
Jamie Redknapp has told The Daily Mail that new Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is well placed to compete with Brendan Rodgers in the Scottish Premiership after previously playing under the now-Celtic manager.
Gerrard, who was named as Graeme Murty's successor at Ibrox earlier this month, spent three years playing under the successful Celtic boss at Liverpool, before leaving in 2015.
But the pair are now rivals by association of their respective Old Firm clubs, and Redknapp reckons that the 37-year-old iconic midfielder must have picked up some priceless pearls of wisdom from Rodgers which he could now use against him in Glasgow.
He told The Daily Mail: "I also asked him if there had been a problem with Brendan Rodgers. I'm sure people now will ask him many times in Scotland about how they worked together.
