Newcastle make attacker available... and he could be an ideal fit at Rangers (Via HITC)

Newcastle United have made Adam Armstrong available, and Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers could be a good fit for the forward.

Glasgow Rangers should consider making a move for Newcastle United’s Adam Armstrong, with Rafael Benitez’s side reportedly willing to sell him.

The Chronicle claim that Newcastle are open to offers for Armstrong, and the youngster could fit in well at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard appears to be looking to mix a blend of youth and experience at Rangers, and Armstrong could be another promising addition to add to the Light Blues’ squad.

The Newcastle forward may not have performed at Premier League level, but he has torn apart League One on more than one occasion.

Armstrong scored nine goals over the past campaign from out wide, after joining Blackburn in January, and he previously smashed in 20 goals as an 18-year-old playing up-front for Coventry in England’s third tier.
