Murty shares what Rangers players told him in dressing-room after win over St. Johnstone (Via HITC)

Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers won 4-1 against St. Johnstone last night.



Graeme Murty has told the Glasgow Evening Times that his Glasgow Rangers side were not happy at full-time, despite beating St. Johnstone 4-1 last night.

The Light Blues picked up a comfortable three points in the contest, but Rangers’ players were disappointed that they let their guard slip late on in the contest.

It is a sign of rising standards at Rangers that the squad are now unsatisfied with comprehensive victories.

And Murty says he was pleased with the way his squad reacted to the victory.



“I had a little go at the players after the game. I questioned whether they would have taken 4-1 before the game and they said yes so I asked what they were moaning about,” Murty said.

“They said the last half hour wasn’t good enough and they need to be better and that’s great for me to hear.
